Just contacted our insurers and he is 100% to blame. Until he phones us on monday if he does we cant get it repair. Its bumper is gone and also the boot wont open and its buckled inside the boot and the drivers seat has gone. We have only had it for about 7wks and its not fair. nothing going right at the moment

Oh I'm so sorry to hear about the accident, but thank God you weren't hurt. Is it too late to file a police report? What a jerk, bet you won't hear from him....

Sorry to hear about this Jane.

Jane is your insurance fully comprehensive? if so, regardless if he contacts or not, your insurance should contact his insurance and sort out the repairs to your car.

Sorry meant to add, in the morning, take loads of pictures of the damage to your car. Just incase you need them also no harm in phoning the police and see what they say

Re: Rear ended by a car

Jane - you should report the accident within 24 hours - so I would give them a call. At least they will give you an incident number and it might make the other drive co-operate.
