Sunday Daily

A bit late to be starting one; where are you? Rain and gloom gone here, a lovely sparkling September day, a bit warmer, 20C, and a welcome change from all the dismal weather. No news here, just the usual market run for tonight's dinner ingredients (shrimp curry).

Hope all are well and that it's lovely weather there too.....

Re: Sunday Daily

Afternoon Eileen, not sure where everyone is today! I have been busy so far today - gym, and then swimming for two hours with my daughter and her friend. Back home and did a bit more DIY in daughter's bedroom.

Weather is overcast and chilly. Autumn feel definately today.

Have to go clean the bunny hutches soon and then the washing/ironing! Never ending work !!

Have a good afternoon all.

Re: Sunday Daily

Afternoon all, me and the OH went for a two hour bike ride this morning, which was really nice.

Popped to the shops for some supplies and just cooking a lasagne (low carb version for me )

Have a good afternoon everybody!

Re: Sunday Daily

How do you do a low carb lasagne Emma?? Meat, vegetables and bechamel sauce only . . . or did you buy low-carb pasta?

I have done the ironing, done lots of wiping of grubby fingers from paintwork, cooked rhubarb and raspberry compote and boiled my mound of beetroots and popped into town for some bits and peices.

OH is now cooking roast chicken with our own broad beans, potatoes, parsnips, onions and cabbage Yum as I'm starving

Re: Sunday Daily

hehe nearly Yola, instead of lasagna sheets I used Aubergine, courgette and mushrooms and used these to make the layers (also with meat and cheese sauce - cheese sauce made with no flour - just milk, cream and cheese)

It was very tasty

Both meals sound very tasty, Yola and Emma! It's 4 hours away from dinner here, and you're making me hungry!

Just watched Joanna Lumleys Catwoman...
It was good, but preferred last weeks episode.

Evening all

Highlight of my day was working this morning and feeding Dylan.
