Tuesday's Thread

Morning. It rained overnight and now it's windy and dull and not too warm. I have usual office stuff to be doing; need to continue writing our brochure, need to cost up a casino website re-write (yawn), and do some home and office admin bits.

We'll have to drop in to Waitrose on the way home tonight as we're running low on basics and now most of our allotment veg has run out I'll have to go and buy some

It's a real nuisance with OH not having a car and him having to come back and forth with me. It messes with my evening routine with the boys. It also gives me NO time on my own - hey ho.

Will be popping in and out during the day so come on - let's hear what you've all been up to

Re: Tuesday's Thread

Good morning Yola, morning all...

The day began very cloudy here but the sun has now broken through although we have strong winds here too.

Did the dreaded trolley dash earlier but managed to find some stationery stocking fillers for Katie and Jamie, which were on offer in Sainsbury's..

I'll be collecting K and J from school this afternoon as they are having their 'tea' with us. They have asked if they can have nanny's roast please ..... so how can I refuse! - it will be roast chicken, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, stuffing, sprouts, carrots and broccoli....

Hope you all have a good day....

Re: Tuesday's Thread

Rotten weather, raining and I need to get washing dried so it's back to using the tumble dryer.

I ought to go out to Reading soon, John Lewis is calling me. We've decided that we need a new mattress as ours is all saggy, we're going to a wedding next weekend and I've nothing to wear, OH has been breaking china again so I need to replace a few bits and OH says we need a new coffee machine. Ergo the call to John Lewis, but not today as it's a bit too late and it's raining (don't like driving in the rain if we can avoid it)

LOL MrsH!! John Lewis calls me most days . . . and as I live about 5 minutes walk from it I'm often unable to resist

I can be found most weekends just going to have a look at what's new - handbags, clothes, shoes - even pictures, furniture and lamps !

Enjoy your mattress hunting

Re: Tuesday's Thread

Hello everyone - sorry I've not been about much lately. It's kitten syndrome, I'm afraid........ not enough hours in the day. And as he's growing, he has more stamina!!! He went to the vet last Friday for his second jab and weighed 1.55 kg - so a nice steady weight gain. He's 12 weeks old now and has grown quite a lot. OH took some photos this morning - Pip has a fascination with the kitchen sink, especially with the tap - I've yet to see if there are any decent photos that I can post. He's just hardly ever still!

It's pouring with rain here and quite dark - we've got lights on and poor Kizzy will be getting wet as we are taking her for a health check at the vet later this afternoon. I am worried about her weight (think I posted that before). She should be losing steadily (cross fingers) now that she and Pip are playing chase regularly! She's also having a dental check. I do hope she will behave for the vet nurse - Kizzy is normally a very placid girl. I'll let you know how it goes later.

Have a good day everyone - keep dry if it's raining where you live.

Re: Tuesday's Thread

We have a dull, warm day here...windy of course! Been waiting for the dihwasher to be delievered, I phones at lunchtime, and was told they will phone the driver to see what time they get to us...She phoned back to say our machine has not yet been delivered to them! Then got another casll from the manager apologising about the delay, blamed the supplier and said it will be here on Friday! Now if I had not called, I would be waiting all day for nothing!!
Meisha decided to pounce on Ollie this morning, poor boy got such a fright, then she decided to spit at him...Little madam!!!

Re: Tuesday's Thread

Gorgeous day here, cloudless skies, light breeze and 24 degrees, warmer by afternoon. But a cold front's coming so we'll have chilly rains thru Friday ... sigh. ..no news really, the usual run to the Giant for the cat food Leia likes.

Moli, isn't that typical about not calling about the dishwasher, how annoying. Mags, wish I could come for tea also, sounds most tasty! Spaghetti and meatballs, salad here. MrsH, have you thought about the memory foam mattresses? I love mine. Has OH been throwing china? Angie, we're suffering from lack of kitten pics!

Wish you all could share in our lovely sunny weather!

Evening all

Dylan had an argument with the bin lorry today (posted about it on another thread) he's fine though just scared me!

Been doing housework all day, visited the rescue to get some katalax and flea treatment for Poppet.

That's about it I think ...
