Sunny Saturday - daily thread

Morning all - gorgeous warm day here. Much too nice to be indoors, but I've promised to do some work today, and have about 3 hours worth to crack on with. Ah well, keeps the cats fed!

Hope you all have a lovely Saturday. Speak later.

Started off nice here but now rain - so much for doing some gardening!

Lazy day, nothing else planned. Might go out for dinner and pics tonight if anything catches my eye.

Enjoy the day peeps.

Re: Sunny Saturday - daily thread

Hi, all. Beautiful sunny day albeit a tad chilly, only 17 degrees. I guess the shorts are done for the season! To the library, got a new Peter Hunt which was recommended to me; looks interesting. All the fur I'd put outside for the goldfinches was gone yesterday so put a lot more out this morning. I haven't actually seen the goldfinches lately but something is taking the fur and they're the only birds who nest this late in the season... definitely a lazy day planned here.

Take care, have a good day!

Re: Sunny Saturday - daily thread

Looks like Mags has a nose for weddings . . .

Here it's been lovely and warm (well, hot - and Dominik is rekindling his holiday suntan )!! We've been to the allotment where we've bagged 3 huge sacks of potatoes and 1/2 a huge sack of onions. Turns out or neighbours-but-one at home with 3 small kids ALSO have an allotment on the same site - the boys are really happy as they have new playmates and it just makes the whole thing so much more social

Chickens and bees are in abundance down there and I've bought a frilly, flowery pinny a la Cath Kidston . . . oh dear . .. middle class gardening - still, it's fun and I love it
