Friday thread

Hi folks

Another warm and sunny day here, long may it continue!

Most of the leaves have dropped off my acer and the surrounding trees are yellowing more each day .......... it is quite depressing seeing nature slowly closing down for the winter months

Nothing special planned for the rest of the day, hopefully the washing on the line will be ready to iron later this afternoon.

Have a good day and a lovely weekend everyone

Re: Friday thread

I picked masses of raspberries from the allotment this morning . . . what to do with them now! They may end up in the rhubarb compote later
At home with Sebi today - did some gardening at home and we'll head off to the park in a bit as he is adamant he wants to try riding his bike without his stabilisers!!

Re: Friday thread

It's been a lovely day here today, very sunny and quite warm too, the laundry's done, dried and most of it ironed ready to put away.

I persuaded OH to clean out the inside of the car and wash it as we're going to a wedding tomorrow and I don't want ours to be the scruffiest one in the church carpark

Good Grief!! it's 3.20 and today's mail has just dropped through the letter-box can't call it the morning delivery anymore can you?

Re: Friday thread

Glad you're having some lovely weather: ours changed from delightful yesterday to gloomy and much chillier, only 17 degrees, with some drizzly rain overnight. Only a hundredth of an inch, not enough to help the deficit much. To the market for odds and ends and salad greens to go with tonight's soup ...definitely soup weather!

None of our trees are turning yet, too early, although the Virginia creeper is turning red, and the dogwoods getting a purplish hue.

Hope Sebi does well, Yola; I never could learn to ride a bike...kept falling over as soon as the training wheels were off! Enjoy the wedding, Mrsh. I agree, Mags, it's a bit depressing to see nature shutting down.

Have a good day!
