Bit of a change here after last week's sunshiney days - it's overcast but not cold. I see there is frost forecast for the end of the week - not sure whether it will make the south coast, but I am beginning to wonder about when I should wrap up my tree fern. I will pay special attention this year after my fright of having lost it this Spring. Pip has been very hyperactive this morning. I was wondering - I seem to remember someone posting that their kitten was hyper after eating Whiskas or Dentabix - but he has had neither of those things, but has been on maniac setting all morning. I did take him out and he walked all around the back garden, along the side and through the gate and around the front to the door - so he has done all of the garden that I can take him to on his harness and lead. There is only one other side, but it gets very narrow and shrubby and he'll have to explore that when he's older. He saw next door's cat Smokey Joe (the cat who bullies Kizzy). Joe made some strange noises at Pip, although blinking furiously. I think he was lying! I picked Pip up and all the fur along his back and tail was standing up. At least he knows that not all cats are as friendly and tolerant as big sis Kizzy. Transcription this afternoon and we have a log delivery. OH has got a bad thumb (Pip got him with a claw) and so guess who'll be stacking the logs???? Hope to be back later ............................. |

Glad Pip is learning about his territory Ang,Joe will have to learn to keep his head down in future; there's a new kid in town Weather here is bright but a little colder than of late, def time for the thicker duvet. Had the washing machine fixer man in this morning.I was convinced it was a huge problem with the spin cycle and was a bit embarassed to find out the filter was blocked (filter, what filter?...just there madam, where it says filter) Well,I never knew you had to clean the thing!!! Alls well, and the second washload is in now. Have a good-day,see you later |

Sunny, very breezy and a bit warmer, 19 C, but a cold front is coming that will drastically drop the temps....fleece and heavier blanket weather indeed! Up to the Giant for Leia's favorite food and some other odds and ends. Her diarrhea is completely over: she has had two shaped movements. I don't know if it was the DiarEze that helped or whether she just threw off what had been upsetting her bowel, but all's well now. They do worry us! Poor Yola, no wine! PP, had to laugh at the filter story, sounds like something I'd do! Angie, that bully cat had best look out when Pip is full grown! Enjoy the day! |

Poured with rain all day today, My grass is now akin to jungle and I'm sure there is at least 5 sheep lost in it!!!! getting dark so early now and the clocks have another month before they change plunging us into dark nights for winter. My poor wee hens won't see me during the week as they'll be in bed by time I get home from work. Trying to decide what to have for my evening meal. Have stood and stared in the fridge, freezer and cupboards - nothing jumped out. Enjoy your evening peeps. |
