Thursday Thread

Sunny but cold here, we had a fire in the town centre early this morning a furniture shop No one hurt as far as I know (three fire engines were the only ones there, no ambulances)

Dylan's been sleeping a lot, just been asking for more food (he's had his lunch)

This afternoon I'll be catching up with the ironing then going to the rescue

See you all online later

Re: Thursday Thread

Hello everyone! Just having my lunchtime sandwich and Catsey break.

I am so sorry about the quiz last night. For those of you who may have wanted to join in at sometime during the evening and found me absent, I am afraid that my ISP had an outage and consequently I lost my connection for well over an hour - not all ISP's fault as it happens as BT is meant to reconnect within two minutes and generally can't manage it! It all came back much too late and then actually went again but by then I'd had enough and turned off my computer and went to bed rather fed up. All well this morning it seems and we seem to have speeded up a bit.

Have bottled our raspberry vodka this morning and of course, had to try it to see if it's OK ..... hic!!!! I'd recommend anyone to try it, it's really easy and makes a wonderfully fruity alcoholic tipple! We are thinking of other fruits for next year, but the raspberries we used this year were home grown.

Have a good day everyone - it is dry here, a bit breezy but sunny atm. I shall be taking Pip out for a walk this afternoon to make the most of the day.

Re: Thursday Thread

Afternoon all.

Drizzley rain most of the day here.

Done nothing much caught up on CP filing and phone calls..emails etc

Since I started typing the drizzle has turned to full blown pouring down rain...well it can't pour up can it?

Having fish and chips for dinner in ages.

Re: Thursday Thread

Enjoying some lovely weather still, already 17 before lunch. Not technically Indian Summer as we haven't had a frost yet; but whatever, it's a gorgeous day. Will be back to chilly rain by the weekend. No news here; had no errands so enjoyed a lie-in and did some chores I'd put off.

That was a shame about the ISP outage; we were quite worried about you, Angie; just glad it was the computer and not you. The vodka sounds very nice.

Hope everyone's well and having a good day ... come tell us about it! The Daily has been very quiet lately.

Re: Thursday Thread

Just in from work. Day off tomorrow - big 4 day craft and hobby fair on in Glasgow so going there with a friend. Have tried it at weekend before and it is just too busy.

Dry here but quite cool. Off to decide what to have to eat - fish tea has its attractions!!!

Evening in by TV and PC I think.

Re: Thursday Thread

Enjoying the ease up of rain till tomorrow's forecasted downpour again.
Taking Lainey to the vet today. Hope the drive is not too bad.
Might need to stop by the bank as well and deposit some money for K.
Pretty slow day, hope it's nothing too serious with Lainey though.
Have a good one, all.
