Thursday Daily

Late, but better late than never! A gloomy day here across the Pond, heavy cloud cover, raw East wind and only 12 degrees. But no rain, thank goodness. Did a market run to the Giant for Leia's favorite food, other than that no news. Will be off to lunch shortly.

Hope all are well and having a good day.

Re: Thursday Daily

I have had a busy day - took the car for the MOT test and it passed which is good news. Then as I didnt spend all the money I had put aside for the test, I went and bought some new underwear. Then I went and bought a bale of hay for the bunnies.

Back out again in a bit to collect daughter and bring her back home before going for a swim for an hour. After that its time to cook dinner!

Re: Thursday Daily

Well done some CP work.....quite a bit actually, phone and paperwork. Been to the shops, paid some bills, cleaned all the paintwork down in the living room and dry cleaned the rug wiped down the leather sofa and chairs. Got down on my hands and knees and cleaned the kitchen floor got down and cleaned between the tiles where the grout is...cleaned that with an old scrubbing brush.

Brought and then arranged some flowers. Brought some winter pansies for the front baskets will do that tomorrow.

Just done an early dinner. Sweet chilli chicken noodles, with homemade potato wedges...and eaten it lovely.

Mom and Dad are going to see Scrooge tonight with Tommy Steel.....hence the early dinner. Sophie joined us she adores that.....

Took Sal out earlier, she enjoyed it, the bonfire in the local park is sure coming on its got to be about 50ft high now, and still going.

Just looking on the site now to see whats gone on. Then off to take them to the theatre back may do a bit of cleaning or ironing not sure then colect them and bed.

Tomorrow will be a busy day.

Re: Thursday Daily

You always make me feel exhausted Kazz!!!

I've been trying to catch up with some work today. My client is away for a fortnight's holiday (she really needed it) but has left me a load of stuff to do for her return. I hope to get one batch off my hands this week and do the other next week.

Pip has been for his walk around the garden. He is scratching at his new collar and that little bell is driving me a bit loopy now - it's going to have to go!

MIL has taken a turn for the worse - her repetition of wanting to pack/get shopping/go home is getting very wearing. When OH is around, I am afraid I stay out of the way as much as possible - I thank heaven for my work really, that's what's keeping me from an attack of the screaming ab-dabs atm.

I took some photos of my Smoke Bush this morning. Does anyone have one of those? The markings on the leaves and the leaf colours are lovely - my favourite colour combos - purple/maroon/plum/orange - I'll post some photos later. Oh, and I had company ......... Kizzy really wanted her photo taken!

Hope that your parents enjoy the theatre Kazz. I used to like Tommy Steele when he was a young chap!

Re: Thursday Daily

I thought today was a quite day actually Angie...not much on. Tomrrow its gardening, and cleaning upstairs windows and cleaning out the gutters. As well as the hospital (Dad appointment) and then hopefuly plant up a couple of baskets and maybe pressure wash the back garden paving...

Meant to say I liuke smoke bushes but don't have one may have to rectify that....when I increase front border tomorrow....pictures will be forthcoming but don't expect much.
