Poppies do you wear one?

I was just wondering do any of you wear a poppy? I have noticed over the years an upturn in people wearing them..down no doubt to Afghanistan and Iraq...to name a few.
Do you wear one?

I would, always used to, but can't find them any more here. There used to be vendors on the corners downtown; haven't seen one in years. Sad.

Yes Kazz, with pride. For my family members who served and died or survived to tell the tale; also for my current friends in the Afghan conflict and their comrades.

the British Legion does hard work in the support of ex-servicemen, long may it continue

I wear one every year with great pride, as do my children and mu husband (I also have on the car all year round). It is the least we can do to honour those who have made the greatest sacrifice for us.

I only wore them when I was in school. But these days I never really see them in shops anywhere so I dont (I should do really)

If I was going somewhere to do with remembrance then yes I would wear one.

I always wear one with pride. I really don't think we should ever forget what these men did for us. I also wear a purple one in memory of all the animals who lost their lives too.
