Re: Good Morning Catsey

Now I've started, I'll add this Good afternoon Catsey readers and posters. Hope all is well with your Worlds, its bright and sunny here but a little chilly.
Plan on doing up a few baskets, then nothing. So if anyone has anything more interesting going on than I do please post it.

Oh obviously my day will include dog walking, I also plan to pop out to the shops.

Looking at going to the Austrian lakes, in the Summer don't know why I've always wanted to go there, so I am.
Will post a little more info in travel.

Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Catsey

Hi, We've been to the farm store to get cat food, chicken food and all that sort of stuff. then we went to the post office to get my euros for Ireland, came back and had lunch, now we are having a coffee then off to Decathlon (it's time to get some padded cycling shorts, my bum can't take it anymore with the cycling & the spinning classes!) Then going for a bike ride,Then we may have a bonfire later (depending on weather) with hotdogs and chilli / chips in the garden. We do it every year, but no fireworks. (John hates sparklers but I may buy a couple for the girls)

Re: Good Morning Catsey

Afternoon Kazz, afternoon Smudgley! I have also been to the farm shop for veg this morning. I am going to make minestrone for supper - got some nice local crusty bread to go with it.

MIL has had a deterioration this week - she's losing common words now, still has persecution problems and being unsettled. It's going home and shopping several times a day now. I feel very sorry for her but there is really nothing more to be done for her medically speaking - we must just weather it as best we can. OH does try to treat her "normally" and jolly her along, but we are both finding the 24/7 care trying atm.

Have a great bonfire Smudgley - we may abandon MIL and come and join you!!! Glad to hear you don't do fireworks - hope the bangs aren't quite as loud as last night and that all animals are safe indoors were possible.

Re: Good Morning Catsey

Hey. all. Nothing interesting here, but going to post anyway Sunny, only 9 degrees now, but we escaped the frost last night in the City ...only down to 2. I gambled and left all the pot plants outside, they're fine. I really should start bringing them in. Did my usual library and liquor store run. Leia is keeping me busy playing doorman: it's quite cold, but she wanted out on the porch; back in quickly. Thought about it and wanted out again, back in. She is now out for the third time .... cats!!

Busy day, Smudgley, enjoy the bonfire. Angie, that is so sad about MIL,,,, love minestrone, wish I could share some! Kazz, I know nothing about Austrian lakes, sounds interesting. Must Google them.

Enjoy the day!

Re: Good Morning Catsey

Replying via my blackberry; hope it works! Nails done, Sebi's party done (with live snakes and crocs)!! Shortly off to the allotment to do our fireworks - no people or pets nearby, just the river and a sports club. Then back here for a big pot of chilli n mash. The organised fireworks here are such rubbish this year that we have no choice but to do our own
