Some people are like that Kazz - I mean a nightmare to buy for. IMO it's generally men! I am always happy with a book token. But that brings me on to another strange thing - if you are looking to buy pressies for other people, you nearly always see things that you'd really like, but when it comes to after Christmas and you have money and/or that token in your sticky little mitt, suddenly all desire for those things vanishes! It must be very frustrating for peole in larger families who have the same "challenge" every year. |

I am never frustrated I can always find somehting that makes people go "Ohhhh thats brilliant" but I think its because I listen and store away info on what they like dislike need/want...etc all year......I buy in Dec though not through the year...thats not Christmas.....I lve the buying/giving not the receiving I think thats what it is. |

It's men, I think, that are so hard to buy for; one friend is indeed a nightmare! I'm like you, Kazz, if I see it, want it, I buy it. And I'm easy to please: book gift cards or some gin or wine. |

I'm the same and I do think men are the worst. I asked OH the other day what he'd like for Xmas - he thought for a wee while and then announced 'I don't really need anything'. |
