Mellow Monday!Another lovely day here, lots of sun and already 16 (61 F) degrees. It really lifts the spirits after the unrelenting rain last week. No errands today so had a nice lie-in and caught up with some neglected chores. And my nice neighbor was by with his leaf blower, so that's one job I can skip....for a time, lots of leaves still up there!  Hope all are having a pleasant day!

Hello! Lost power several times during the night but luckily it was all in the wee hours and the only thing I really had to do was set my cell phone alarm clock so K would wake up in time for work before I went to bed. Oh, and a section of our fencing has come down in the dog run section of the yard. Trying to figure out how to let em go potty without gallavanting all over the neighborhood. So far, so good. The winds will take a break this afternoon they say and then start up again by early evening  Not much of a break but it's something  It still looks pretty gusty out there to me though! Should be interesting day today! |

Evening, We havnt had any really bad weather up here, just heavy rain really. My bed collapsed in the middle of the night last night (3.30am) Scared the life out of me. I forgot I had to put a big box under it to support the slats when I first got the bed coz one of the slat broke back then (Its a rubbish bed, not my weight hopefully lol) anyway, I moved that box last week and put a pull out bed underneath it so it wasnt supported anymore... At least I had a soft landing lol Have a nice evening |
