So- so Wednesday

Mix of clouds and sun, more of the former; our spell of mild dry weather is coming to a end, rain and chillier tomorrow. 10 (50 F) again now. Up to the Giant for Leia's special chicken that my regular supermarket doesn't carry; nothing special on for the rest of the day, just pottering about.

Looking forward to the quiz tonight at 8, hope some will join us for some fun!

Re: So- so Wednesday

Naughty dog rolled in the cowpats today! (cats are so much cleaner!) We kept having to clip him on his lead and warn people not to come to say hello to him. He was soooo pongy! He couldn't understand what the fuss was all about. he probably thought he smelled great so, shampoo, blowdry and comb out later, he was finally fit to be let into the living-room.

We got an estimate today from our tree surgeon of £250 to reduce the crown of a large silver birch beside the drive. Seems a lot of money but it's skilled work and he's done work for us before so we know he's reliable, safe, insured and clean and tidy. Just need to organise a date for the work now.
