That is really odd, Moli! I know that can happen with Siamese, fur coming in a different color after shaving for an op; think it's thermal related. As you know beige is the dilute of (red) orange and blue of black; how in the world did his new fur get beige? You now have a bi-color boy! Big mystery! Wish I knew more about genetics. |

Oh I never saw about poor Merlin, hope he is ok now! When Kiara was spayed, her fur grew in blue Moli on the shaved patch, not as blue as her points but more like the lighter, less obvious blue on her spine, but then it slowly turned back creamy as she shed and grew new hair! |
