Chattering and talkative cats

There's been some discussion as to whether cats who chatter at birds are also generally more vocal. So, let's have an informal survey and see what the results are.

My cat:

Chatters at birds and is quite vocal
Never chatters but is talkative
Chatters but not especially talkative
Doesn't chatter and not very vocal

That was supposed to be a poll, but I obviously did something wrong! Leia doesn't chatter and isn't very vocal; Sultan and Dandy were chatterers and vocal. So far, 7 chatterers and talkers, one neither.

I think we all do, I would love to know what they are trying to tell us half the time.
