See what made me happy today

Neighbour was knocking down old shed and I begged some bricks. This was load 1 of 3. Now I can do all these things I needed bricks for.

That's cool, nothing like free bricks! I managed to get some quite a few years back and used them to edge the vegetable bed in the back and a small bed by the front walk. But they are really heavy aren't they, lugging them home?!!

He brought them in a wee trailer so easy to dump.

I'm going to edge the herbaceous border and put three under the wooden tubs to get them off the ground.

Bricks are just so handy. But yes, heavy.

I agree CM, it is always useful to have a little supply of bricks they are just so useful in the garden.

Aren't we funny, but practical! I too have a small stack of bricks handy, just in case. Excellent idea to raise pots off the ground.

Re: See what made me happy today

Now, you see I like bricks! I have stashes all over the garden and in the allotment too. We had a wall fall down a good few years ago and I carefully salvaged and cleaned all the complete bricks as they're really old and chunky and they're all squirrelled away under shrubs and in tidy piles in various corners
