Hi Angie, All. Bitterly cold here, an Arctic front has come down and it's not going to get above freezing for the coming week: -6 now (22 F) and wind chill is -12! Aaaugh! Only went out for the paper and that's it for the day ... too cold to go anywhere. Pip is a real little outdoorsman isn't he: foresee problems when the weather turns milder later! He'll want to stay out all night.Have you tried any radish sprouts, they're nice in a salad, a little peppery. Sorry about MIL ..... |

Sorry things are rough with your MIL Angie . . . hopefully your kitty antics are a good antidote. It's been cold and bright here too. Met up with a friend in a lovely pub (well it was lovely - the new landlady is a right cow and I won't be going back there again), and we had a great catch-up chat. The boys were relatively well behaved and played in the large garden. OH's son (the 26 year old one with the son of his own) has been given an allotment not far from our plot - more fun for the boys as their little nephew will be there to play with now |
