Saggy tummy kitten?

Hullo!

My 6-month-old-or-so kitten Lemon has a rather saggy tummy.

He is well hydrated, eats a lot, very healthy and active and so I've never had a reason to worry about this fact, but I do wonder if it's at all common or the like as I've never seen a kitten with such a saggy tummy.

Our other kitten Enki, who is a bit younger, has a little bit of saggy skin around the legs which I assume is normal.

Lemon, however, has a very saggy tummy - to the extent that the very bottom of it hangs down a bit. I've felt it and it just feels like normal excess skin, no lumps or bumps or anything.

Any ideas? :0

It's quite common in cats, most of mine have had it, especially two of my girls. I wouldn't worry about it if the cat is otherwise in good health.

Re: Saggy tummy kitten?

Has he been neutered yet. I havent had a kitten with a saggy tummy but guinness has got one. He is a huge cat and it flaps when he runs. He was neutered at around 8 months and if people who dont know him see him think he is a pregnant cat

Misty had a hangy-down tummy that flapped when she ran ...which was seldom! Leia does too.

Pip's getting a bit of a saggy tummy. I presume it may have something to do with neutering.
