Soaking Saturday!

How much rain?? Glad its here tho as it has washed the remainder of the snow away. Cleaned the two bunny hutches and runs out this morning before the rain started, but it hasnt stopped since it got going!

Nothing exciting planned today... food shopping and gym and swimming... then probably a friend for dvd and drinks later...

Have a good day all.

I don't think it's going to get light today - unmitigated gloom. It's raining here too, but not really very heavily. Still have a bit of snow lying, but it won't last long.

Bit of a gloomy mood here too today. OH is in a mood and I'm not feeling very happy. Difficult to elevate moods when it is so gloooooooooomy - feel like Eeyore!

Re: Soaking Saturday!

It is indeed a very gloomy day in Hampshire isn't it Angie? Now that the snow has just about gone, it leaves a lot of muck behind!

Today is laundry while OH is out at one of his art club workshops, and doggie biscuit baking - tuna pureed into a mix of wholemeal flour and cornmeal. Wonder if they're ok for the cats too?

Have a good day all!

Re: Soaking Saturday!

No sun today but still a mini-thaw: 6 (43 F) and no wind to speak of. Did tomorrow's market run as heavy cold rain is predicted all day and I'm worse than my cats about hating to go out in the rain. We still have some grimy mounds of left over snow from the two storms, which hopefully will finally vanish. No news otherwise, all's well here.

MrsH have you tried crumbling the doggie biscuits in cat-sized bites to see if Jason and Mollie would like them? Angie, sorry you're a bit gloomy, hope Pip can cheer you up with his antics. Donna, njoy the drinks/DVD!

Stay warm and dry......

I love the rain, it means I can see the garden again almost forgot what soil looked like.

Very overcast here but hey the snow and ice has all gone...I love British weather.

I find the green so relaxing on the eye after all that white! OH told me that he'd seen a report on the news of a woman who had been blinded by the snow after just popping out to feed the birds. I do hope she gets her sight back - how scary.
