Murky Monday

Morning everyone

There's suspicious black clouds about at the moment and I'm sure I heard thunder then Dylan's outside - hope he comes in before the rain starts

I've got several bits to do today and I'll be at work this afternoon (training thing)

Been on the phone to the vets, Dylan's going tomorrow to have his claws done and he'll be donating blood at the same time as well

Re: Murky Monday

We've got fog here this morning - it's very murky indeed, but no thunder.

I am going to the Podiatry Clinic this afternoon to collect my insoles to help with metatarsal problems, so I am hoping that they will be comfy. The Clinic is about 10 miles away, so my car will get a decent run out too - hasn't been out of the drive for nearly a fortnight.

Laundry day here too (I do get a couple of non-laundry days in a week) and OH has gone off to the driving range with his mum and the golf clubs. Pip did want to go, but has had to stay at home to look after me. He's full of beans and bus tickets this morning as usual. Does make me smile, him and Kizzy.

Will be back later - hope you all get up to some mischief today and, more importantly, tell about it!

Sorry RCR - forgot to say - do hope all goes well with Dylan and his nails and the blood giving. What a brave wee boy I hope he'll be. Will he be anaesthetised?

Vet won't need to anaesthetise him - the worst Dylan will do is try to use the vet's hand as a pillow

What a darling! Extra vole-wishes to him from Kizzy and Pip.

And walk round the room, then curl up in his carry cage and go to sleep

Re: Murky Monday

Black clouds interspersed with bright sunshine here today. I nearly didn't come into work today as I was feeling really unwell this morning. It's worn off a little but I still feel rotten. Another early night tonight!

I have been feeding Balie Royal Canin Oral Mature wet food almost exclusively and this, together with him being subjected to a feliway plug in has resulted in (a) a massive increase in appetite (b) a far more relaxed cat (c) no vomitting for the last 2 or 3 weeks and (d) normal litter tray activity. Result!

Re: Murky Monday

Hi All,
Sorry have not been around again for a bit, at least it wasn`t as long a break as last time, but have just not had the time to come on the computer at all , so I would just like to say I hope that everbody and all the fur babes had a fantastic Christmas and New Year ( We did ) LOL.

Hope I haven`t missed to much.

The girls that I look after got a wee little ginger and white kitten for Christmas and she is just so tiny and sweet, will post some pics when I can, she is called "Princess Ginger", PG for short, I call her "The Ginger Ninja" she is just so lively and charging around everywhere LOL.

Hope all goes well at the vets for Dylan, RCR. H
e is such a brave boy.

Angie, good look at the clinic.

Yola, hope you feel better soon. Great news about Balie.

Bye for now Pauline & M&M

Re: Murky Monday

Hi Pauline - good to hear from you again. I miss hearing, and seeing pictures of M&M (hint!)

Sorry you are still not feeling too good Yola - drink plenty of water. I get that sore skin thing too.

I am back from the Podiatry Clinic and have my orthoses in - feel very funny and advice is to wear them 30 mins on the first day and increase gradually. I feel as if some birdie has laid an egg in each shoe!

Re: Murky Monday

A beautiful day here, brilliant sunshine after yesterdays cold rain; thaw continues! It's 7 (45 F) now with a promise of 11 by afternoon, woo hoo! No errands today so had another lazy lie-in; no plans for the holiday. All's well here.

Hope you adjust to the orthotics, Angie they sound a bit uncomfortable, hope they help. Yola, sorry you're still not up to snuff; but good, no, excellent, news about Bailie! Leesy, nice to see you back, and second the pic request. RCR, sure all will go well at the vets tomorrow!

Take care, all.....
