Cats and attention

in a multi animal house hold,do u think any of ur animals feel they get less attention then the rest???

i have 2 cats and 1 dog,the 2 cats do their own thing really, not wanting attention much, and the dog always wants attention, even when im trying to give it to one of the other 2,the older cat will not come for attention but will lie in his bed crying for attention

Re: Cats and attention

Interesting question niki! I only have two cats and I feel that they both get as much attention as they want. They both come for smooths and cuddles when they want. I ought to add that because of our particular situation, we are at home nearly all the time so have lots of time and attention to give. I have never had a dog but I'm sure they are more "needy" of attention than a cat generally speaking.

Yes I do find that dogs are more need of attention than dogs, but my spoilt two M&M don`t lag too far behind

Re: Cats and attention

I think the second "dogs" should read "cats"

Re: Cats and attention

What I meant to say is that I do find that dogs seem to crave alot more attention than cats, even though M&M are not far behind at craving the attention they get than dogs are
Hope that makes more sense
