Bitter Wednesday!....... and it is, or is it I'm very sensitive to the cold these days? I want to wrap myself up in a big snuggly duvet and not come out until Spring is here! OH has a golf lesson today .............  and should be home soon. MIL has been very unsettled today and her back is still playing her up, so she's in pain. OH will need to decide whether to go against her wishes and take her to the doctor if this goes on. Pip has had kept me smiling with his chasing the laser mouse about and ......, did I say Kizzy wasn't interested? She chased it too today! More seasonal than bitter here today, lots of sun, 1 degree (34 F), but another Arctic blast is headed here for the weekend with the possibility of more snow! Enough, already! I feel the cold more as I've gotten older also. My geriatric toaster has died! It's so old I don't remember when my mom got it, but can't really complain; it came with me when I moved here in '65. Was researching prices on line last night and amazed at some of the prices for fancy designer name toasters: $50, 60 and 80 for some; unbelievable. I found a nice one for a reasonable $9.99. So Kizzy decided to join in the game! Maybe I should rethink getting one for Leia. Please do come to the quiz tonight if you can, will be fun as always. |
