It's Tuesday

Well, back in bed for me. I went to the office yesterday but it was so exhausting that i couldn't get up this morning. I've got some editing to do which can be done via laptop and bed.

On Thursday morning I'm going to see my herbalist, so hopefully she'll precribe one of her wonderful pick-me-up tonics and they'll work - unlike the otc multivitamins which are not working!

Here's hoping Karen's on the mend - with her weakened imune system she needs to take care!

Re: It's Tuesday

I'm sorry to hear that you are back in bed Yola - keeping warm I hope. The herbal tonic is bound to do good very soon - hope you are feeling more energised soon. I too keep thinking about Karen and hoping she's comfortable. I am assuming rightly or wrongly that it's something to do with the illness she had just beforehand that her GP diagnosed as food poisoning. Hospital is the last place she wants to be I'm sure. I'm very glad she has close family to look after her parents.

The sky was wonderfully blue earlier on when OH went off to play golf, but it has clouded over now and is quite cold out. I have some office work to do today, MIL sitting and a bit of Pip polishing to keep me smiling! I'd really like to post the photo of Pip's sister on the forum, but I haven't asked her owner's permission and she's off to Florida today. Perhaps the best thing to do is if anyone wants to see the photo, PM me and I'll send it to you privately.

Have a good day everyone. Thoughts with Eileen in the snow out shopping, safely I hope, and with poorly people and pusscats.

Re: It's Tuesday

Hello.
Well I feel like a broken record but K is pretty bad again. Last night was pretty restless and he had a doc appt already scheduled. He's being seen in about fifteen minutes, his mom is meeting him there because he's having trouble walking again. Like the last time he had blood clots. So...*sigh..* I'm kind of bracing myself for the phone call he's been admitted. He told me himself he has a feeling he's going to be hospitalized again today.
I am just kind of preparing myself for that whole topsy turvy thing again and thinking of what I can get in order in case we do all this again.
Anyhoo..I'm trying not to think too much till I know what's going on for sure.
So how are all of you?

Re: It's Tuesday

Oh Tink, such distressing news, so sorry. What a rough time again for you both. Yola, hope the herbal magic will help. Hope Kazz is recovering at home.

Finally made it to the market today, just as well as they're now saying 12 -16" more.... Took almost 2 hours door to door onb what should have been a half hour trip as the streets are lousy. We got stalled on one street but two nice young men pushed the car so we got moving again. We had to go a roundabout way as the usual streets were in terrible condition. Market absolutely packed with people stocking up again; I got everything I needed but milk ... shelves bare! Aaaugh! So, hunkered down waiting for the snow again.....

Re: It's Tuesday

I've been to work today & got home & changed, then been to boxercise class. I love that, but boy do my muscles ache afterwards. Could hardly move last week. No-pain-no-gain. Back home now for a shower & some tea. Incubator nightmare still going on.....

Re: It's Tuesday

Well his mom just contacted me. They are at hospital as doc ordered an immediate TEE. They are worried it might be endocarditis.

Re: It's Tuesday

Thank you. I guess I will just focus on taking care of the animals and house so if I need to go down there I'll be ready.
