Sailaway Saturday daily

Not sure where the title came from as I have never sailed other than ona rowing boat on Sutton Park lake....many years ago and a yellow bannana boat in Greece about 10 years

Anyway it looks to me that the weather is perfect for sailing... ...but in my case mental sailing away. The sun is there trying to get out, may plant up my last of the tulip bulbs today...

Don't feel to bad today.

Happy Saturday everyone.

Re: Sailaway Saturday daily

Glad you're feeling ok today Kazz.

It's a beautiful day here, we were out early for a lovely frosty walk with the dog and I'm just off to go and make lunch, soup and rolls. OH is watching the DVD of The Spy Who Came in From the Cold which came free with the Daily Telegraph this morning. I remember seeing this many years ago, it was made in 1965 I think, but I have to admit that I'm finding that the very plummy oh-so-English accents of that era sound rather odd these days!

Hi, Kazz, MrsH!

Beautifully sunny here and above freezing: 2 (36 F); but this is still the second coldest February in 30 years! The Monday forecast has changed to all rain now, hopefully will help get rid of the mountains of snow still here. Had a lie in and just pottering around.

Glad you're feeling more chipper today, Kazz. The only boat I've ever been in is a rowboat on the lake fishing. MrsH, free DVD with the paper? Lucky you, ours doesn't do nice things like that!

Hope it's a good day for all.

We get these quite regularly, both with the Telegraph which we get on Saturday and with the Sunday Times too. They tend to be old, classic film DVDs but there's also audio books, music and poetry CDs from time to time. Oh reckons we've kept about 50 or so of them ( the rest not being to our taste )

Hope your predicted rain gets rid of your snow mountains!

Afternoon/Evening every one.
Lovely day here today, we had lots of snow yesterday and today is lovely and sunny.
Had a lovely walk in the woods with some friends and dogs. Am completely knackered now. Rayne and Bernie are both fast asleep, G is off fishing and I'm thinking of having a nap.

MrsH, I am hoping for that too! Took one more snow pic showing the remaining snow, will post after lunch. I cannot believe how much is left 12 days after the last big storm.

Woke up to a ferret tickling my toes and wanting to play. Wondering if K is coming home today or not. Drinking coffee and pondering the day. Nice and sunny. Not supposed to rain again till Wednesday.

Evening all - busy day of getting the house straight before the kids came back.. and now its a disaster zone!! Bags and belongings everywhere, mountains of washing, and two kids fast asleep taking up all the sofas in the living room!!!

And the bonus is that Emma has lost her voice completely!!! LOL!!

Re: Sailaway Saturday daily

Happy Saturday,
glad your feeling ok Karen. Why do we feel we have to get the house straight before the kids come home Donna, like you say it's a bombsite within seconds of them walking in, and my kids are grown men
Been to see pups again today, unfortunately breeder still unsure about which one she wants, once she's picked we are having the one she doesn't have so in effect the choice is narrowed down to two. Will be bringing her home next sat.
Still feeling funny about Amber and her Kittens, the whole thing made me feel hopeless as things got worse and worse and advice didn't appear to be taken.

Hi all, Lucys birthday today, big party as always & lots sleeping over. They are getting bigger now & at 11 / 12 yrs I feel a bit on edge with them that they may fall out with each other, a lot more-so than I've ever felt before anyway. They have eaten, played sherrads (sp) done 3 treasure hunts, & are now watching a DVD.
Me & John are sitting by the incubators having a coffee & watching the little poppetts chipping away at their egg-shells, so cute!
