Tuesday - another lovely day here!

Two in a row! Woooopeeee! OH is off playing golf and hasn't taken his waterproof jacket today ....... he likes to live on the edge!!!

I'm MIL sitting and cat tickling here today. Washing machine is on but I have NO transcription work today, so I'm a free agent. I think I will go and tidy up my lovely clean greenhouse ready for seed planting. It's a wee bit late, but things are behind this year anyway. I have some narcissus in leaf, crocus is out, catkins are out, snowdrops are out and one variety of tulip is just poking up new shoots. I do love the Spring. I have ordered some garlic smokers for the greenhouse because I did have some powerdry mildew on my tomatoes and I'd like to kill off any spores that may be lurking. This is a new natural product - you don't have to remove any plants before lighting it in the greenhouse and it leaves no residue. Brilliant - just hope it actually works!

I see that Aquatic was feeling poorly yesterday and hope she's feeling a bit better today. Also hope that Kazz is feeling better. Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon! It's sunny here too, but it was freezing this morning, so much so that I couldn't unlock the back gate. OH had to unscrew the lock right off! I have a long list of things to get through today as OH is at a meeting in Tunbridge Wells but I'm munching on oat cakes and cottage cheese at the moment (surprisingly nice) so am having a break.

Later this afternoon I need to go and wrangle over what I feel are overchargings on Sebi's school fees and also we have Sebi's parents' evening. Should be interesting . . .

It's nice and sunny here but have decided to stay in because I'm still not feeling to good hopefully I'll be okay tomorrow.

I've just seen a bumblebee! And a butterfly a bit earlier on - couldn't get close enough to tell what sort - Pip was showing a lot of interest too!

You poorly people need to look after yourselves, plenty of rest required.

A beautiful sunny woodland walk this morning but the ground's going to remain horribly muddy for some time to come I fear, suits Morgan fine, mud and water are his favourite things

fortunately he likes having a shower too!

OH has just gone out to his art group so I think I'll do the ironing this afternoon and listen to the afternoon play on Radio 4 while I'm doing that. It's on after The Archers which I can't stand, such a smug programme!

Lovely day here too, and a day off, can't be better!
Darcy was up at 3am needing a wee

but at least she 'asks' when she needs to go out. Imogen is coming around too, she spent the morning in the same room as Darcy-safe on the back of the sofa but progress!
We've been out socialising this afternoon, a visit to the garden centre, a walk into town then the local primary school to see some of those small noisy people

She's currently snoring at my feet.
Plan to try and do some knitting this afternoon-a friend and I have joined a local knitting group and the challenge for this month is a 'knitted picnic'. I'm making some sandwiches

Hope the poorly peeps feel better soon.

Liz - you are amazing! That What do you like in your sandwiches thread could get you thinking about the filling. Not sure I'd like to eat woolly sandwiches though - please remember to take a photo - I'd love to see what knitted lettuce looks like!

just a quick check in, routine gone to pot with new Pup.
She's adorable though and is very cuddly as well as mischevious.
Needs watching with Tom and Jerry though, she's getting a bit bolder.

Hi all, cloudy and cool here with a rain/snow mix for tonight/tomorrow; 4 degrees (40 F) ; no signs of Spring whatsoever here. I am so ready .......!!! To the market to stock up just in case...

Hope all the poorly people improve today, do take care of yourselves. Angie, that's interesting about the garlic smoker; hope it works as promised. PL, enjoy the day off!

When do you change to Summer time; I never remember. We do on March 14th ,,, will have sunset at 7:15 pm then, woo hoo!
