Dare I say it, but it feels like spring!

I'm almost afraid to say this but today it felt very springlike. It wasn't paricularly sunny or warm, but it just had that uplifting feel about it. We still have a few patches of snow, but I do hope they go soon and things can start growing. It will be such a relief if the weather picks up and with the clocks going forwards in a couple of weeks time- we will be able to get so much more done and maybe even, finally get the place tidied up.

Isn't it wonderful after the horrid Winter? It's sunny and mild here, although still well below seasonal norms. The buds are swelling on the barberry and magnolias, the hellebore buds are emerging; crocus and snowdrops have appeared. Hope it's going to be a decent Spring and Summer!

Not here it wasn't! Although sunny it was bitterly cold . . . and my daffodils are now 6 weeks late!!!

I agree though that the longer days are very welcome. Means I'm less inclined to be feeling sleepy by 8pm

glad you are all showing signs of spring... we are still warm here... although not oppressively so the last couple of days... we have had a lot of rain...in fact the usual March average in 2 days.. which is unheard of...so the garden is loving it... but not much of it fell in the catchment areas

OH and I were talking to our neighbour on Sunday and saying how late we felt everything is this year. She said it's back where it should be - we've had some very mild winters and we've forgotten what British weather should be like. I didn't like to argue, she's the sort of woman who actually does know everything to do with things rural.

Its deffinately not mild here in Denmark. Its been very cold again today. All melted snow has now turned into thick ice, so its like a skating range where ever you go
