I like the "this time next week I will be recovering" Kazz - good positive thinking. Don't beat yourself up about not being motivated. Various bits of you are fighting atm and you probably just need to centre yourself. Imagine you are a lump of clay on a wheel - don't know if you know how a potter centres the clay so it doesn't wobble all over the place, but basically you press the clay in towards the middle until although it is still spinning round, it is centred and still. I have found that a wonderful meditation in the past and helps to remove all "niggles". Hope it works for you if you try it. Nice day today - blue sky with clouds, warm in the sun if you can escape or shelter from the chilly wind. I have been out to lunch with two of the ladies I do transcription for. One is hoping to be able to fly out to America next Tuesday, but it seems that the Icelandic volcano is still spewing out ash, but fingers crossed. Hope everyone has a good Friday and a grand weekend. |

Hi, Kazx, Angie. To quote a headline in one of our papers, this flight disruption is a real pain in the ash! I really feel for all the stranded people; some probably have emergencies or really urgent business.... Glorious taste of June here: already 25 C (77 F), blue skies and just a light breeze, perfect. But rain/t'storms tonight and a cold front coming for the weekend. To the bank and market, no plans especially for the day. Kazz, good thought from Angie; take it easy and you are in my thoughts. I hear the ash will cause spectacular sunsets, keep the camera ready! Hope it's a lovely day for all! |

Hiya all back home...now and considering doing nothing......going to Val's 60th this evening... so will start to get ready soonish. She is one of our telephonists/receptionists at work. Angie you have to concentrate on what you can influence, hence my recovery. I like the idea of being centred Angie may well consider some sort of yoga..when I am a bit better. |

A late hello to everyone, been out and about a lot today, car boot this morning, Tesco the walking the Dog along the riverbank with my youngest son. We were lucky enough to come across some Weasels. I think it may have been a nest of babies as we saw about 3. Tonight we are going to tea on a friends barge. Kazz i can reccomend yoga when you are feeling better, i find it very helpful both physicaly and emotionaly, you can take from it what you will. Hope you enjoy the birthday party. Eileen i hope you enjoyed your trip to market and angie i hope you enjoyed your lunch. |

Hello! Been rushing around; not sure where the day has gone (dropping OH off at work, shopping, allotment, cooking a huge stew, feeding the boys, looking at an office, dropping OH off in town, feeding the boys some more)! Shortly am off for a dinner and drinks evening with the chaps and chapesses from a local Reading forum . . . a really nice relaxed bunch of people and I'm very much looking forward to it. Will walk down but as it's Friday night will cadge a lift back or get a cab as Reading's not too nice once the drinking starts |
