They do look as if they had a grand time. There are some good photo captures there Shelley - especially that last photo! I know nothing about the origins of the Basenji - can you tell me a bit about the breed? |

Basenjis are an ancient breed that originated in Africa and Egypt Angie. The modern Basenji remains very similar to the original Dogs, they are called a pariah breed. They are the smallest hound and are used for hunting in Africa. What lovely lovely pictures. May I ask do Basenji owners have a jamboree type of event a lot of the smaller breed clubs do I know. My friend has a Petite Griffon GV (can't spell it) they have a lovely yearly meet. Smashing action pictures there. Glad they all enjoyed it. |
