Daughter's Prom DressWell packed daughter off to her prom last night. Spent ages buying the dress, doing the hair, finding the right shoes....     And after finding a lovely pair of Japser Conran shoes as worn above, she decided to wear her boots (after trying the dress with every shoe she has  )   Typical of Emma!! (Excuse the mess - Emma is like a tornado going through the house when she is getting ready to go out  )

Oh . . that takes me back! I used to scour charity shops when at art school and had several 50s cocktail dresses that had just the feel of Emma's very pretty dress. I just adore her 'chic goth' look - and the dress and boots - well it's perfect! I hope she had an amazing time at her prom |

Thanks all! She had "an amazing time" and was the only girl with boots on, so she was happy lol... she likes to stand out! I must admit the boots were more "her" and I love her look too.. she is so pretty (biased mother here) .. I am very proud of my daughter for being who she is.. Just wish she would be a bit tidier Grrrr!!! |
