I took this one because I find it interesting that Solomon eats with his tummy flat on the ground and one paw in the dish.

Solomon and Kuan Yin this morning.

They are watching the rain together.

Lovely pics, seen dogs eat with a foot in the bowl, but never a cat. At least noone will be able to sneak it away without him knowing.

They look so companionable, don't they? Love the paw in the dish. Pip sometimes fishes food out of his dish and then eats it off the floor!

Thanks, guys. Their relationship is truly growing. Solomon tries to head butt or rub his body against Kuan Yin but she's not QUITE sure about all that yet

I think it's just a matter of time though before she gives in

Solomon reminds me so much of my Dandy. A sunny, confident fearless kitten who loved everybody and everything. When he came he took one look at Misty and said "Oh, you are a mommy-type cat, and I miss my mommy"; she hissed, spat and said "Go away you little pest". He persisted, she caved in and in a few days was washing him. . They were dear pals till she went to the Bridge many years later.
