Aren't they lovely birds? We do have nesting pairs around our way - but only in recent years. They nest at Kingley Vale. I love their cries as they circle.

If I can't come back as a well loved cat, I'm going to be a buzzard.

We have a few pairs around here too. This one was sitting about 20 feet away fom the chooks though

oh how lovely We had one land on our hedge for about 10 seconds a few years ago, but usually we only see them way overhead. There is lots of country and woods near us so see quite a few of them, but never that close!

Yes, they do - it was just a bit unnerving as it sat there for ages watching very intently. Looked as if it was thinking about it! lol.

Not sure but I think it is one of this years youngsters.
