Midnight games

Does anyone else have a cat daft enough to headbut his way through a locked cat door at 12:45 in the morning in order to chase off a fox?

Is anyone else here daft enough to spend 15 mins in the garden in their pjs and bare feet recapturing the daft cat and chasing off a fox at 12:45 in the morning?

Does anyone else have neighbours who think they are mad?

Oh, and is anyone else shattered today because of midnight feline fun and games?

I love my cats, I really do but there are some days (nights) when Tolly would try the patience of a saint! He, of course, has spent the day catching up on his sleep whilst I have driven an 80 mile round trip and had to try and make intelligent noises at a meeting..... yawn.

We will be constructing a barricade around the cat door tonight - just in case

LOL! Well, it really isn't funny I suppose, but I can just see you out in the wee small hours in your PJs rescuing the valiant (if a bit daft!) Tolly! Glad he didn't catch it!

"Katie, bar the door" time tonight, definitely!

You do sound as if you have retained your sense of humour though cats' staff! That Tolly is just unbelievable. He has no sense at all.

I often think he and RCR's Dylan would make a dangerous pair if they ever met!

Re: Midnight games

Do you think boys are dafter or is it just our two RCR? Tolly was 'done' as soon as he was old enough but he does seem more territorial than Smudge or Cleo. They would chase other cats away but Tolly seems to want to chase ANYTHING else away! I mean a fox- how daft is he? And how wound up was he to smash his way through the door? I've got visions of a fox the other side of the patio doors sticking it's tongue out going 'nyah, nyah, nyah, can't get me' causing Toll to rush round to the kitchen and charge out!
Oh dear, I think I need more sleep!
