He's adorable ![]() As for his teething, maybe try a small rope toy, you know some of those toys made from sisal rope.... perhaps an ice cube with a little tuna it to attract him to it, may help cool his hot gums.... For trying to stop him from pinching food, you can try a water spray but he has to think that it was an act of god rather than it coming from you. Maybe even give him his tea while you have your dinner.... |

You can buy little chews - as Elaine says - they are made of some sort of organic rope like stuff (!) I bought a couple for my little Pip, but he wasn't interested in chewing them. You are right about the teething - I was concerned he'd start chewing cables, etc. I don't actually think I found anything before it was all over - they teeth really rather quickly! Your Pip is a real sweetie - I love the snoozin' photo. My Pip is on my avatar!! He's 14 months now. Make the most of your Pip's kittenhood - it's such a short time! Bless 'im! |

Ok here's another act of god that worked for my dear Eva when she kept jumping onto the freezer and tearing the wall paper off the walls. Collect some empty fizzy drinks cans, put one or two pennies or small stones in them and a small piece of tape over the opening. Place a plate with some food on the sofa and arrange the cans procariously around the food. Idea is, cat jumps up for food, cans fall over and frighten him a little. He doesnt acossiate this as a punishment from you but rather as a consequence of him jumping to steal the food. |

What a little sweetheart! Love the snoozing pic specially. No idea about the chewing, never had that problem. Plate eating:: a gentle tap on the nose, a loud NO and putting him, down should work ....... eventually! ![]() |
