Platys


we have jut discovered that both our female platys are expecting babies!!! looks like we are going to have alot of baby fish swimming about very soon. Only problem is, is that we have 2 males that wont leave them alone!!!

Will post again if and when they decide to have the babies!!!

i will get pics posted when they eventually have them. It scan take upto 28days before they give birth. We also bought some new platys today. 3 more females and a very handsome male so we will see how they get on aswell!!!

Ooh, how exciting for you. Do you have the potential problem of the babies being eaten? Or will you move to a 'nursery'?

at the moment, we are still trying to work out when they are ready to give birth so we do have the potential prob of them being eaten. we do have a birthing tank though so we just need to watch them and try get them in it quick enough
