As you all probably know, I'm no great royalist. However, I really hope their life in the public eye is better, happier and more fortuitous than Diana's and Charles'. Kate is a lovely girl . . . I hope she can deal with the immense pressure that is going to be heaped on her. I have a soft spot for her - not only a Berkshire girl, but she used to go to the school that my boys now attend. May they both have a long and happy life together and I look forward to getting caught up in the wedding fever . |
