Wow! Kitties do like to climb - please don't forget to unblock the ventilation before you put your fire on! Might be an idea to get a guard that you can fix to the wall??? |

I did look into various different ways of blocking the fireplace just after I got her, to no avail. TBH I've only used the thing once since I took over the place - just after I got the lease. But yes, I'm not putting the fire on with the books there - too big a fire hazard for me - it feels like it's pushing it as is... |

Dolls aren't antique no, bought new for various birthdays as I grew older when I went through a phase - mid to late teenage years. I'm not a collecter as such, but I liked these ones so much I didn't get rid of them as I did some of the others. Think those two and one other are it on the number I own now... |

She is lovely! We did have a childhood cat who got into the chimney via a very small space beneath a gas fire- she was retrived OK and christened Smokey.... |
