Tim has seen himself in the mirror but never really took any notice, he just looked for about 10 seconds then walked off He often sees cats in the garden & never reacts to them either Love your Clouds colouring! |

Think she just sees movement and immediately turns to see what's happening, then sees more movement, and wants to know if it's a threat or not... Or something to pounce on! But when it goes still she looses interest. |

Wee soul, imagine she'll have great fun if she continues to react. We have mirror backed cabinets and Izzi walked past, noticed the other cat, stopped dead in her tracks, stared for ages and then walked off without a backward glance. |

This is possibly a better example of the kind of interest Cloud has in her reflection right now... She'd just pounced at the mirror in this vid a few minutes before, and was still sufficiently interested in checking it out when I set her on track again... |

It's a very interesting behaviour and is meant to indicate a consciousness above average for a mammal, other than a primate - you've got a clever little cat there. Wonder if her interest will continue? |
