Deli the dali.

Deli, our old dalmation, has been very bad on her back legs lately, she has spondylosis and is showing weakness due to neurological damage and muscle weakness. She is on steroids and tramadol as well as acupuncture to try and help with pain relief. Today I took her to a physiotherapist to try and prevent any more muscle wastage and perhaps 're-train' the neurological pathways. It was interesting and we have a few exercises to try with her for the next 3 weeks before we see her again. I hope it works for her, as no matter what we do if she has no muscle bulk she wouldn't be able to walk anyway. I am hoping we can keep her on her feet for a wee while longer, and you know me I'm willing to try anything new, and see if it works. I'll let you know how we go.

The therapist did say the this would be good for Deli, but the nearest hydrotherapy pool is at the other side of town and the car journey would be too much for her.
