Would mean clothes would have to be redesigned ....... how would one keep one's tail from getting wet?

How about using your tail as a belt? Would save a fortune, and always fit too!

You could always put your umbrella cover on the tail when it's raining..

I vote ring tail too! Also less maintenance ... tangles, etc
