Poem for EileenEileen we miss you very much, We all hate it when we’re out of touch So hurry back to Catsey our very dear friend We sincerely hope you’re on the mend We miss your daily posts and chat And news about your pretty Cat We’re going to sail across the sea With pretty straw hats and sandwiches for tea We talk to you on the threads each day Thinking about you, hoping your ok On your return you’ll have reading to do To see just how much we think of you

What a wonderful poem Shelley. Sums it all up nicely!  And yes, I can definitely see 'our' Eileen being stunned at just how much we've all missed her. Eileen - as I may well have mentioned once or twice before, how genuine you are in your responses really calls out to people, and makes you one of the people we're all looking forwards to seeing post on any subject. In some ways, you embody the very essence of all that Catsey is... Mags, I can see why you'd want it to have been here in time for the greeting we all sent, but maybe if all goes well she'll see it later today... Here's hoping anyway.  |
