Monty has started evening classes!

We are all back from Monty's first puppy class. Only two other pups there, labrador brothers. There was a visitor in the form of an Irish greyhound pup who was saved from being pts, bought over here and adopted. He is in the class above - the juniors and has started clicker training.

So a very small class, the trainer was very clear with instructions and there were two other helpers. Monty did very well, was a bit nervous at first naturally. We got useful advice re separation anxiety/attention seeking.

Going again next week.

Yes, I was tired out too! Got some useful tips and the trainer is very happy to answer questions to problems people have.

Rather glad we didn't go for a labrador - lovely dogs but rather large and boisterous. I was proud of Monty who behaved himself very well. The labradors came with a whole family, mum and dad, teenager and young boy. Monty was particularly well behaved when the young boy made a fuss of him.

Glad you both enjoyed it, Rayne almost had an ASBO on her first lesson

. Both Rayne and I really enjoyed the classes, hope you and Monty continue to enjoy them too.
