Funday Friday

Well you can't say I'm not back with a vengeance it's 6:15 am and I've been up since 5am, Posh didn't know what had hit her, fed and watered , bowls cleaned and mats washed. That'll teach her for yowling at unearthly hours.

Off to Curves at 7am with my 2 nieces, making the most of the quiet mornings while Ceri sleeps. Need to cut the grass later- I can't say lawn because there's a huge difference to the state of the garden I have to what I envisaged oh well, I tried.

It's going to be a little belter of a sunny day, enjoy peeps!

Re: Funday Friday

'Morning all! Beautiful sunny morning here, bright blue cloudless sky, just a few vapour trails high up. I'll be going out with the dog soon and I think I'd better find my sunglasses as it's just so bright.

We've been getting lots of young birds in the garden lately, it's nice to see the attentive care of the parents but the young goldfinch in the front garden today was on his own, so must be a fully independent little fellow now.

Lawn's brown, please send rain!!

Re: Funday Friday

Glad to hear that the sun is with so many people. Have it here too - though I'm finding it a little too hot. Already had head under the cold tap once, and second time may not be that far off...

Just back from Dr's - think the first issue was a trapped nerve - but cause it simmered down we leaving it at that - if it comes back again may well need to go for tests.

Tiredness equates to a fasting blood test - she wants me tested for anaemia and sugar levels... That's Tues - 11:50, and no food from 10pm night before. Great!!! Oh well then, I've done worst in the past.

Wish we'd more time - think it's something like 8 mins for an appt, and if you even slightly late then tough. Parents practice it's more like 15 mins for an appt, and they take you if you just a little late - plus you don't feel like you're rattling through the reasons you came - dr can actually take time with you. Far nicer. Oh well then!

Re: Funday Friday

Hi all - very warm here and windy too. Like MrsH, we definitely need rain here too - a nice night long steady gentle rain would be good. Crops around here are really suffering and probably too far gone to recover.

I keep thinking it's Saturday today for some reason .... have a good Friday folks, w/end approaching.
