Olivers new friend

Meet Ginge (for want of a better name!). He came to the house one day and he has stayed. I am saying he, but I dont know what sex it is. If he stays much longer, I will get him to vet and get him to tell me. Doesnt look as though he has a home. There is an empty house a couple of doors away and the grass and weeds are quite high, he seems to like sleeping in there but comes in for dinner!

Re: Olivers new friend

Its quite timid. Benny doesnt like it. Hisses and chases him, but Olivers ok with it. He follows Oliver about, wants to be his pal, but Olly still pops him if he gets too close. I dont know wher he came from, but he likes getting combed (his fur was a bit matted and I had to comb/cut the matts out), which he let me do. Its weird, he hasnt come into the house today, except to eat, but if hubbys here, he will lie on the couch with him. Hubbys working shifts this week and wont be home till 10. It will be interesting to see if Ginge comes in then! Dont think it likes me much. I tried to give him a worm tablet in his food, now he will only take meat from hubby! lol

What a very handsome boy (or girl!) - wonder if he/she does have a home. The matted fur may indicate that the cat has been lost or is a stray.
