The day before Christmas eve

Well one more sleep and the action kicks off.....are we all ready?

Elaine hope you get paid and a little further away from the workhouse
Seriously maybe you need to put something in the contract for new clients.

Everyone have a brilliant day I imagine its a bit manic in some homes and a little more restrained in others. A lot of people breaking up for Christmas today I imagine. Not got a lot to do here - still a little bit of wrapping to do but a bit more wrapping paper and sellotape to buy too. Note to self buy more in the sale next year.

Off out this evening................last one before Christmas.

Everyone have a good day see you all later

Re: The day before Christmas eve

Morning Kazz - if anyone will be hearing the bells on the sleigh this year, it should be you! Yes, just one more day.

Very very gloomy and damp here this morning. We've taken Monty for a walk and he was a bit of a nightmare, barking at everyone and everything, children, bicycles, other people, dogs .... OH lost his patience and would not speak to him! It is embarrassing but somehow it doesn't worry me so much, he's trying to communicate after all.

He's had his paws washed and now he's having a couple of dog biscuits in his crate and he will settle down for a nap. We are about to get some lunch.

We popped into the Co-op on the way home and got all our veggies, so NO MORE SHOPPING - if we haven't got it now it's TOO LATE!

May do a bit of wrapping this afternoon - just some things for OH, MIL, oh and the furry friends ......................

Re: The day before Christmas eve

Had my nails done this morning (festive red of course!) and I'm having a cuppa during my break from pottering in the kitchen, nearly forgot to do the brandy butter! Just doing a few things that I can freeze and whip out as necessary, cheese scones, carrot cake, choc muffins - I do enjoy baking but hardly bother these days now that the young folk have left home.

It's been a dim and damp day today, OH was in town picking up the bird this morning and he said it's very, very busy, must be lots of last minute shoppers out there. I agree with Angie, what we haven't got by now we'll do without!

Re: The day before Christmas eve

Hello all! Sunny, windy and more seasonable now at nearing 10:45 AM after a rainy night. It's 10℃ (48℉), we've now picked up 3 minutes of evening daylight! As it stands now, we'll have a clear, cool dry and green Christmas; too bad for the snow lovers; I don't mind at all. I had a robo call from Giant (supermarket) saying due to unforseen circumstances today's deliveries will be 2 hours late ...?? Annoying. Nothing much happening, just peace and quiet.

MrsH, your freezer sounds full of yummy goodies. Angie, sorry Monty was unsociable today, I guess it's the difficult teens?? Kazz, you do know how to keep Christmas well!

Whatever you're doing, enjoy the day!
