Re: Fresh Friday

Morning Kazz, Early post this morning Im up early as we are getting ready to head to Aberdeen for the weekend.
I hope you enjoy your trip to tunisia. Lucky for some heading to the sun!!!

We are just getting organised to head off, after we take the sofa covers out of the machine, washed the first lot of them last night and they looked quite good. Bit worried about leaving Skye for the weekend although i know they will be fine as we have family coming to check on them. I found a wee lump on her last night but have posted in a new thread about that.

Have a good day everyone and stay warm.

Kazz enjoy your holiday xx

Re: Fresh Friday

Morning all - yes, taters again here this morning. Thick frost everywhere. You were outside in -6 last night Kazz? Not for very long I hope? What were you doing ..... looking for night-owls?

Hope you have a good w/end in Aberdeen, Pamela .... not been there myself. St. Andrews is the farthest north I've been.

My ears are still blocked, but I feel there is a bit of movement that wasn't there yesterday. Keeping up with all the treatments and drinking plenty of water/orange juice. I expect a "pop" any day now! It's horrid not being able to hear the radio or TV - I am SO glad I've got my Kindle! Got to a scary/emotional bit in "Following Atticus" and had to go online to the website to find out that Atticus is still alive, so I can carry on reading .... phew.

Have a good day all.

Re: Fresh Friday

Morning all!

Brrrr! Days like this remind me how nice it is to be retired and not have to spend time scraping ice off the windscreen before driving to work Actually the sun is nice and bright and has now defrosted the cars on the drive but I'm not planning on going anywhere just yet. I'll have to boil the kettle for the bird baths as the poor little things have no water out there just ice!

Do you ever wonder what prompts dreams? Last night I was helping Kevin Spacey organise a music festival for local primary schools. It was held outside and part of my role was to give the singers their cues and so that the parents weren't aware that I was there, I kept having to hide behind trees! Later on I was trying to buy veal and had to be interviewed by a French butcher before he would sell me any. Weird or what OH can never remember his dreams but I can always recall loads of detail.

Enjoy your Friday everyone!

Re: Fresh Friday

Love those dreams MrsH . . . I've had a couple of vivid and strange ones this week too.

It's bright and cold here and I have a hangover! My wine intake has dropped dramatically over the last month so the couple of extra glasses last night really hurt However a lovely evening was had with fellow reception class Mums.

Have struggled through the interview with a potential new sales person, thankfully a colleague was leading the interview which is just as well

Re: Fresh Friday

I love hearing about dreams I do recall mine at times but mostly like Shelley I have little "mind prompts" during the day.
I do wonder what prompts them though, and some are weird athough never run a
concert - reading it though your dream sounds like a teachers role in the back ground not the limelight as pupils move through life - you are the foundation not seen but essential. But the veal - Lord Knows

Pamela I hope you enjoy Aberdeen - will catch up on the "lump hread"

Angie sorry you are still feeling so poorly, I had to do similar with the Atticus book but I just read the back - odd how you become emotionaly attatched isn't it - there would have been nothing I could do about it either way- but its like you can do something "because you are the reader"!! does that make sense.

Yola I do hopeyour hangover has eased - see don't give up the alcohol is what Eileen would be saying to you prevention is better than cure. So keep drinking !!!!! What were your dreams this week?

Shelley glad you enjoyed work, may I ask how/why you started not only collecting dolls but repairing them too?

C.S. Looked atthe link quickly - wow was that all you, will catch up later or tomorrow but good on you.

Off to work for a short while now back later - enjoy people.

Me and LOTS of other people including some great volunteers. I only do a very small bit - education programmes and resources in the East of England (that's half my job). Keeps me busy and gives me ideas above my station-I do have a tendency to refer to the odd castle or stately home as 'mine'.
