Morning everyone, as the title says, this is my plans for the day as the house has slipped a bit this week due to being busy at work and also being a bit lazy!!! OH and i are just going to work in here today to get the house looking nice again!! Also need to go get the monsters food as we are starting to run low.

Hope you all have a good day

Re: housework saturday

Morning! Well after an *ahem* eventful day yesterday I'm feeling better. Long story - bad allergic reaction to a known allergen but it was REALLY severe and ended up in A&E + adrenalin drips and all sorts Frightened everyone, OH rushed home from work and boys were starting wide-eyed at the paramedic sticking syringes into me

Still feeling a bit wobbly but much better now. Have a friend coming over this afternoon and I think we'll all head out into town for an early dinner. Just about to run into the shower and then take the boys down to the library as Sebi's eaten through his school half term reading in about 10 minutes and needs something more challenging.

Re: housework saturday

morning Pamela and all to follow.
Can you diviorce your children, anyone know ?????
Woke up this morning and my son and his car crash of a life jumped into my head, had to take some headach tablets, got rid of the ache but not my son.
To make the day even better we have training, yaaaaay another hour of being shown up by the Devil dog
After training i plan to seek solace with my dolls, need to do a repair on some eyes also may just take some out of the cabinets just to handle and look at.
Could realy do with going to a dolly event, next fair is 3rd March.
Hope you all have a good day, see you later

Re: housework saturday

Hello All!

Blimey Yola, that sounds so scary. A former pupil of mine from when I was teaching at Ash died from anaphylaxis a few years after she'd left school. Do please take care!

Pamela, I admire your energy. We're going through a slovenly phase at the moment. OH seems to think that retirement means he can spend absolutely all his time on his hobbies (photography, art and pub lunches with pals) so I thought I'd spend all my time on hobbies too (dog, crochet/knitting) As a result the place is an absolute tip and we're running out of clean things to wear ............and I don't think he's even noticed

Sorry your son is causing you such trouble Shelley, hope he sorts himself out soon for your sake and his too.

OH is off to an art demo this afternoon so I think I'll do some more work on my crochet cushion

Re: housework saturday

Hi all - goodness Yola, that sounds terrifying. Hope you are feeling better, I would expect you are still a bit shaky? Take care. Epipen sounds like a very good idea.

I had a very poor night, not much sleep and lots of coughing, so I am only just up and showered and dressed. First port of call - Catsey!

The sun is shining here and it looks lovely out but we did have a hard frost so I expect it's cold. OH has been out for a short walk over the field with Monty Bogle, who seems to be back to himself now. OH was told by the vet that Monty should be kept on lead and not allowed to run/jump for 10 -14 days and OH checked online this morning and that does seem to be average advise. Poor Bogle, he will go crazy if he's not allowed to run off lead for a fortnight! He has a checkup on Tuesday, but the incision site is lovely and clean and I'm sure he's fine. I did chuckle at Kazz saying he looks "sensible" - I must tell OH that - he is certainly a gentledog, and intelligent but I'm not sure quite how sensible he is yet!

I have done a collage for Leia, which I will post later.

Enjoy your doll mending Shelley - hope you find that calming. I am SO glad I didn't have kids; cats and dog will do for me. You must have a really grand skill with your doll mending, how do you go about repairing their eyes?

Enjoy your day folks.

Re: housework saturday

Thanks everyone for your good thoughts re James, have to ring him soon, scared it will push me over the edge
Just back from training, the session with Kwame was a complete nightmare, i got so upset that i had to get Howard to take over. He seems to be getting worse around the other dogs and i'm not sure letting him offlead to come away from distractions is the right thing. I feel it's unfair to the other people.
The next session with Malaika i took over instead of Howard, she worked well for me after an initial hiccup. My nerves are shot at, time for some glass eyes methinks (doll ones)
Angie it's a tricky operation putting eyes in the doll, they have to be fixed with plaster of paris through the open top of the head, it's delicate work and you have to get the timing right to get the eyes to rock open and shut before the plaster dries completely.
I'm sorry to hear you're still not well

Re: housework saturday

Afternoon all.

Lovely lovely day here, flight change in departure fly out at 6.15 rather than 7.00am more tickets now to be collected from airport.....

Carpet being fitted stairs and landing on Monday so action in preperation painting to be done. Having new doors fitted too after the carpet. So ripping up the old carpet and then clean again then prep and paint.

Mom and Dad off to the Symphony hall tonight to see this
Happy and Glorious http://www.thsh.co.uk/event/happy-glorious/
Taking them shortly. Took Sal out today too and the day is superb proper nice weather fresh but bright - enjoyed the walk.

Shelley do not think you can divorce however I am sure you and Howard can pack up and run...................... and regarding doll eyes I think eyes make the doll some eyes are scary!!!!!!

Angie sorry you are still poorly and yes I think Monty is sensible.

Yola that sounds totally scarey........epipen maybe sounds good to me reactions that require that level of medical intervention surey need something - preventative???

Mrs H I love your plan for sorting the house painting classes and crochet work let the tidy fairies do it.

Pamela I am with you action wise....... unless something else catches my eye then I flutter off in that direction.
