Sunday

Good morning everyone,

Its wet and drizzly here so not too nice. Got a 100th birthday lunch today for OHs nanas friend whom regards OHs family as his own as he doesnt have any.

Also woke up to the sad news that music legend Whitney Houston has died. Liked her music and movies. Sad day for the music industry and fans all over the world.

Hope you all have a nice day andlots of hugs to our catsey cats xxx

Re: Sunday

Morning Pamela, happy birthday to o/h's nana's friend x
Whitney died? Of what? She was young wasnt she?
Not alot planned here today, got some poop to scoop, van to wash, books to do and some study. Oh and dog to walk obviously.
Got an A for my essay on canine dominance and book review.
Overcast here at the minute but milder than it has been.

Re: Sunday

afternoon Pamela and Elaine.
Great mark for your essay, well done
Grey and rainy here today.
Just going to take the dogs out around a local nature reserve.
Picked Jerry up for a nice cuddle and thought a photo would be nice, however Jerry didn't agree and wouldn't cooperate.

Re: Sunday

Afternoon all. Very sad about Whitney.

Happy 100th birthday to your OH's nana's friend, Pamela. How nice that he has people to share it with.

Well done Elaine - excellent mark! Pat on the back from me.

Grey day here, overcast and cold. OH is cleaning the inside of his car which is going in for a service tomorrow and he's been to see his mum. The stupid Pensions Service had sent a letter direct to MIL (they know OH has PoA) wanting her signature - this is to stop the Attendance Allowance part of her pension because the local authority has taken over part payment for her residential care. Luckily the home had saved the letter after she'd opened it, otherwise it would have vanished. She cannot sign her name now at all.

Monty is suffering from not having his normal exercise and is seeking out mischief. We are trying using interactive toys with treats etc. to keep him amused!

I had thought that my cold was improving yesterday afternoon, but I'm thick again with it this morning, but it is a bit different although I can't describe in what way. I didn't cough so much last night and slept better.

Have a good Sunday peeps.

Re: Sunday

good luck with the bingo Karen.
Yes planning the escape route although he's not answering my text messages. I will have to text him later as i have important info to impart. It would be so easy if i could just walk away.
Should have stuck to dogs and cats but then again looking at devil dog maybe just cats
We took the dogs for a walk to a nature reserve, we took them into the visitor centre as there's a lady volunteer who likes to see the dogs and give them a treat. Poor lady was realy quite upset when Malaika stole Kwame's sausage
Couldn't have happened to a nicer dog

Re: Sunday

Right home did not win, however discovered loads of people here and why because my Dad has decided to cure my slightly squeaking floorboard......and put a nail through the water pipe to the boiler water pouring through the kitchen ceiling. And a nail through water pipe coming from the boiler and a nail through the gas pip leading to the afore mentioned boiler.......now no gas - no water......and 4 men wandering through..........AGHHHHHH

OH NO! Lord, Kazz - hope everything gets mended very soon. Perhaps you need to confiscate your Dad's hammer?
