Monday

afternoon everyone.
It's been quite bright and sunny here, the dogs and myself had a lovely walk this morning.
Two loads of washing done and on the line, what a difference not having wet washing all over the house trying to dry.
Spent a couple of hours sorting my eldest son's finances out, well at least trying to.
Got the filing cabinet to look foward to now.
See you later.................

Re: Monday

It's a bright, sunny day here, not particularly warm out of the sun but definitely a nice Spring day. The pets are moulting like mad! Morgan was at the groomer's last week and surprised her by how much was coming out and today when I was brushing Molly there was cat hair flying all over the place. I'm going to have to hoover again Jason is out in the sunshine so I'll brush him later, hopefully he'll have left his spare hair outside We collect the combings and put it outside in a peanut holder, all the tits and finches come and collect it to line their nests and they're starting to collect it quite regularly now so there'll be some nice warm fledglings in our area later on!

Enjoy this lovely day everyone!

Re: Monday

Afternoon Shelley, CS, MrsH - we had frost here first thing, but it has been quite warm and in fact warm enough for me to go out and start weeding around the raspberry canes. Sphagnum moss is my bane. Need to get it out before it's little seed heads start exploding. Brilliant method of dispersal, but a nightmare to control. As it was the first time out doing gardening, I didn't stay too long and came back in for lunch and now I shall potter about indoors for a bit. Just don't have the stamina to keep at it all day. I asked OH if he would get some weeds out of the patio and he's done it all and it took him about 30 mins.

I remember that Eileen always reminded us to put out our cats' fur for nesting birds and it is a timely reminder MrsH!

I hate the end of the financial year too CS - it doesn't seem all that long ago I finally got last year's stuff sorted and now it's all to do again - nearly. Don't suppose I have a fraction of the work you have though.

Shelley - I am intrigued, what are you going to do with that filing cabinet???

Have a good day folks - a dry settled week is forecast for us here, but we shall see!

Re: Monday

Afternoon all a bit late for a daily - but hey ho.

I need to buy a new length of worktop - I will explain the original idea was to move the table, which meant moving the cabinet which meant moving the dog, and then I needed to move the cupboard, which meant moving the tumble dryer which in turn means I need to buy worktop......I am astounded sometimes at my own stupidity .....

However onwards and upwards I am now considering moving the bedroom about........and the spare bedroom.
