Good morning everyone, up and awake early this morning. Hoping for the mist to go away and the sun to come out

Just read yesterdays daily Kazz, i hope your feeling better better soon and the pain goes away xx

OH is painting waterproofing stuff on the garage today to help stop the leaks that it has as my car is kept in the garage now. Im going to get the car washed as we are heading out on our first MX-5 meet up tomorrow with other MX5 owners and i want the car looking good After that, i think just a bit of food shopping and then a quiet night.

Hugs to all our catsey cats from me and my monsters. Hope everyone has a lovely day and the sun comes out.

Feeling a little better today may potter in the garden although a heavy fog this morning, but its clearing.

Sal has been a little under the weather the last few days not sure if she was missing me (very possible) and would not fuss overly however apparently while my sister was here on Wed a large bumble bee fell onto Sal in the garden and apparently Sal jumped Diane could not find see anything on her but she has been quiet since - but of course I was not there from Tuesday so - Hmmm we will see she seems fine now. Maybe just missing me. She is fine when I go on holiday I think she susses out the suitcases so my sudden absence must have confused her. She'll cope.

Talking of dogs Angie poor old Monty but I would not fuss too much he obviously has good doggie manners as he appears to get on with quite a few different breeds/sizes/sexes. And of course he is still a pup really and some breeds like Staffs and Boxers can be bouncy.

Back to chatting C.S. I love castle and churches...cathedrals. You work in lovely settings. Will start a thread on that I think.
Mrs H 4 weeks already wow no time at all. You should keep the third bootee and hang it up for a Christmas stocking

Right all had a piece of toast and cup of coffee and now ready to face the World. May tidy up the garden today.

Mags I assume no word back from Christopher or Caroline.

Alex got the letter and thank you so so much I totaly agree and will start writing myself I think. Will start a thread on that I think.

I am sure they will put them together. They have meetings for your car wow. How lovely a common interest may I ask what made you choose the car in the first place; Have you always loved them, or is it a recent discovery?

Ive always wanted a wee sports car since i passed my test years ago. It was OH who first saw the MX-5 and showed me 1 and i kinda fell in love with them aswell. Then 1 came up that we could afford to buy and went for it as we had been looking for a few weeks for 1 and finally saw the 1 we got. The meet up tomorrow should be good, its from Bo'ness to Livingston then through the back roads to Falkirk to a chippie for lunch/dinner. We have met the group just before we picked the car up as they had a dinner meet in a pub in our area so we went along and everyone was lovely so atleast we will know a few of them when we get there aswell

I've now made the 3rd bootie and have binned the undersized one, so that's another job done. I need to find some nice toggles/buttons for a kimono-style jacket I've knitted, I'll see if there are any I like in Hobbycraft next week. I'll be in Basingstoke anyway so I'll pop in while I'm there.

Nothing special planned for today, housework, dog walk, bread-making. Hope your Saturday is more interesting than mine!

No, I'm sorry to say there has been no word from either Christopher or Carolyn - I sent the emails last Saturday so am looking forward to hearing something shortly.

They must both have their own busy lives so I don't really expect an immediate reply.

Afternoon all! Glad to hear that you are feeling a bit better Kazz, don't overdo things though - take it steady! Poor Sal, I can't believe that the bumble bee would have stung her just like that and I'm sure your sister would have seen the sting if she had. You're probably right, she is just worried about you. I think Monty is a bit stiff this morning, he took several thoughts about jumping up onto the little table in the garden and didn't rush off into the copse after rabbits this morning. He's having his siesta just now and I may give him a bit of a massage after.

Pamela - I hope you enjoy your car rally. And the chippie!!!

MrsH - we have a Hobbycraft not too far away at Havant - I do like going in there but it is so tempting. I have been sorting out old family photos for ages now and I've decided that some of them need backing on acid-free papers, so I can feel another trip to Hobbycraft coming on.

OH, Monty and I have been for a walk over the fields this morning. It is warm here, sunny but rather hazy. Saw several buzzards riding the thermals and some skylarks singing.

Karen glad that you are feeling a bit better, take care. I'm sure Sal would have realised you weren't well and not just on holiday.
Pamela your meet up sounds great.
I've had a nice day and the weather has been glorious.
Got up early to go to the first outdoor local car boot of the season. Only spent a small amount on a vintage dam troll.
We then took the dogs for a blast at the river and they enjoyed a paddle. Kwame destroyed his posh collar yesterday and i wasn't sure if he's swallowed any of the crystals, however no sparkly poo today,
I've ordered Chris a new watch for his birthday on thursday and another gentle leader for Kwame as he's chewed the other one.
Jerry is ok, eating as well as ever. It does worry me that he's not going outside in the sun, instead he sleeps in his basket but as soon as night comes he's up and out.
Tomorrow i'm hoping to go to a doll fair in birmingham.......
