monday again

Morning everyone, another bright day here. Had a great day out at the MX-5 meet up yesterday such a beautiful day for it. 16 cars in a row with soft/hard tops down.

Not at work today though as i got up and showered this morning and felt really light headed and sick. Lying on the couch and getting looked after as OH doesnt have any calls in so far today.

Hope you all have a lovely day x

Re: monday again

Hi Pamela and all to follow. Sorry your feeling not well today but glad you had a good time yesterday, any pics ?
I had a lovely day at the doll fair, i went with two friends and we all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly.
Gorgeous sunny weather here, my parents are at our caravan and spent all yesterday sitting outside on the decking.
I love Mondays, just me and the pets in the house. Took the dogs out a walk this morning, Kwame cried because he couldn't catch the squirell in the tree.
Jerry is ok, eating well but his poo is very hard and dry and he's had a few accidents in the kitchen. Have spoken the the veterinary nurse this morning and she has reccomended i give him oil on his food, am also giving him laxapet. I'm not bothered that he does it in the house, just concerned for him. I'm hoping my parents will come and stay whilst we are away otherwise i'm not sure we will go.
Off to a review meeting at the day centre for my son, parking is realy difficult so i'm not looking foward to that.

Re: monday again

Sorry you're not feeling so good today Pamela, take it easy!

Shelley did you buy anything at the doll fair?

Not feeling too good myself today, the tinnitus is really bad and kept me awake for quite a bit of the night, I then slept in until about 9.30 and discovered the tinnitus was calm, but it's returned since then. I try not to let it get me down and it's ok if I have something else to concentrate on so I'll find a project for the rest of the day and hope that I get a good sleep tonight.

A nice, sunny dog walk later on, I know we're short of water here but the good thing with the lack of rain is that the ground is firm and dry so Morgan comes back relatively clean from his walks at the moment. Usually with his feathering he needs a hose down when we get back

Re: monday again

Afternoon all

A gorgeous day here.

Seems we are still a poorly lot last day of my strong painkillers today then a few more days of antibiotics etc feel okay still cannot keep anything in my stomach for longer than about 10 minutes and still feel tired. But getting there the weather helps sitting outside.
Need to talk the chap next door appaarently his daughter tells me they are considering a new fence - so I will offer to go halves as I will get the benefit of it too.

Pamela so glad the day went well yesterday and oddly enough I saw a MX -5 today (not a very good car person)and I agree totaly sporty really nice. Will keep it in mind, always wanted a sports car. Sorry you are not to well not expecting are you?
Shelley glad he is on the mend and that you enjoyed the show and best of luck with parking.
Mrs H enjoy the walk and sorry you are having a rough time with your tinnitus - a silent problem I imagine (not seen I mean)

Re: monday again

Afternoon all! Glorious day here too. OH, Monty and I have been out for a walk around Colworth Down which is near Chilgrove. We walked there last year to see the wild daffodils and started off from the same point this morning. Not nearly as good a show of daffodils this year - probably as the Winter hasn't been nearly as cold. Had a good walk along bridlepaths, most dry, only muddy in places. Monty woofed at his squirrel - he stood with his front legs up the tree but couldn't get any further after it!

Hope you soon perk up Pamela and MrsH, sorry your tinnitus is keeping you awake, it's a horrid thing and nothing to be done I think. Distraction is good.

Sorry I didn't say anything last evening! I always leave myself logged on but go off and do things and last night it was supper and then watching TV. Perhaps the doctor's sign should have gone up .... sort of reminds me of Lucy from Peanuts!

Have a good day folks.

Re: monday again

Karen, i'm going to nag you woman. I'm sure you shouldn't still be not able to keep food down, can you keep drink down ( and i don't mean alcohol
Does the hospital realise you are still like this ?
MrsH, sorry to hear about your tinnitus, hope you enjoy the walk. Yes i did buy yesterday, a 1960's chiltern babykins doll.
Pamela, glad your feeling a bit better
Angie, glad you had a nice walk
Before i went to Chris's meeting, Jerry and myself enjoyed an hour in the sunny garden. He's not been going out lately except at night. Today i carried him into the garden and he stayed with me. I had the dogs locked in the living room and i think Howard may be right when he suggested that Jerry is lying low to avoid the dogs ( i know the feeling, lol )
I'm going to make sure he has some dog free time especialy when it's sunny.
Chris's meeting went well
